The Breaking Point: When to Fight or Move On!
What a life! We all experience successes and challenges in this human existence. While some decide to be passive to life challenges, the majority decide to take a stand. Society has a tendency to applaud those that take a stand because in many instances it leads to positive change. However, what is the cost of taking a stand too far that leads to devastating consequences beyond your ability to control? It remains a fact that we all have choices, but in many cases we do not have the control of all situations to determine the outcome of our actions; right, wrong or indifferent.
Then again, sometimes in this human existence you do not have the choice of taking a stand, the issue or concern chooses you. This is interesting because we draw things to us by choice in certain instances while in many cases, the issue or concern choose us and taking a stand is inevitable. When faced with this inevitability, you must reserve internal wisdom to achieve the desired results and yes, sometimes it requires seeking the advice of others. Ultimately, people have varying opinions that is determined by their life programming, so use discretion when seeking the advice of others. While it is rare to get everyone on the same page with you in a free-thinking society, or to totally agree with your choice, the decision to fight or remain passive comes from within you, and is a personal decision.
Seeking to control issues or concerns that are beyond your abilities, or simply beyond your control to influence outcome could be a daunting task. Equally, depending on the level at which the control or lack thereof have on your mental well-being, could cause stressful situations if things do not materialize as anticipated. Many times this stress caused by the battle could lead to frustration, and ultimately, giving in to the greater forces that seemingly prevents you from achieving your goals of winning the fight. Is this the time to give up the fight and move on? In others words, can you "live" with the outcome when the outcome is not in your favor or in favor of the masses you chose to fight for on their behalf? It is within each of us to take a stand for weaker individuals in society that have neither the drive, or ability to fight for their self against stronger forces. However, it is not always wise to intervene in causes or issues of others, even the weaker individuals in society. This has come to be known as "Tough Love."
These remain challenging questions, however, remember Life is challenging in many respects and seeking balance in life allows for you to ultimately strive for acceptance of all outcomes, both positive and negative. We all desire to win, but we must equally take into account that in order to win, someone or something will experience a lost. Seeking an outcome where a win-win could be achieved is best, and when it becomes necessary to take a stand or move on, take into consideration the influence on all involved. In other words, it is not about taking a stand or moving on in this life existence, it is all about what you can live with as an outcome predicated on infinite possibilities and the resulting influence on you personally and society as a whole.
The Breaking Point is worth its weight in gold, because it allows us to grow as individuals and as a free thinking society. The Breaking Point is the cause of positive change or if allowed, could take you to discouragement or an early grave. No one could truly tell you when to fight or take a stand or move on, and we all have choices when face with challenges. Before you begin, think, think, think and then make your choice wisely. Seek balance in your life and strive to live with all outcomes in this human existence, this way, the "Breaking Point" will be the best thing for you personally that leads to a fulfilled life!
"There comes a time in this human existence when taking a stand is the right thing to do regardless of a potential negative or positive outcome."
It becomes a matter of personal choice to take a stand or simply move on in life, as well as live to fight another day! First and foremost, taking a stand on issues or concerns that are personally important to you requires courage, an understanding of the perceived issue you choose to take a stand, and more importantly, the ability to accept the outcome.
In other words, move on to potential issues or problems you have greater control over to determine a positive outcome. Choose your battles wisely!
There comes a time in this human existence when taking a stand is the right thing to do regardless of a potential negative or positive outcome. While at other times and depending on how deeply you "feel" about a certain issue or concern, the best choice is to remain passive and allow individuals with greater understanding, experience, and knowledge to drive the issue or concerns to a positive conclusion.
In fact, sometimes the issues or concerns must simply be left to a higher power with trust in the outcome for the greater good of all mankind.
